In memory of our legendary leader, J. Mack Robinson, Atlantic American proudly supports the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®. This is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease, the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death.

End of the year holiday-time can be stressful; and imagine if you have to focus on a sick child. Every year, Atlantic American tries alleviate a little bit of that stress for families by conducting an office toy drive.

Benefits of Laughter

American has been honored to support Skyland Trail and its Benefits of Laughter fundraising event. As a corporate donor, we helped this non-profit organization continue its service to the mental health community. For more than 25 years, Skyland Trail has inspired people with mental illness to thrive through a holistic program of evidence-based treatment, integrated medical care, research and education. Their Benefits of Laughter event has been delighting the Atlanta community for almost two decades. Held each fall, it is Skyland Trail’s primary fundraiser and features live comedy and a night of celebration.

JEANS WEEK

Jeans Week” at Atlantic American is a big hit with the staff. It’s a quarterly, internal event that takes place in our office, over the course of a week, and effortlessly raises money to support selected nonprofits, including:
